Our helical primary reducer combines the efficiency of helical gear technology with the flexibility of worm gear technology to supply an effective solution to many application challenges. The addition of the helical primary reduces power consumption and increases capacity on standard single reduction double enveloping worm gear products. By using an attached helical primary the number of product configurations available to deal with application requirements is increased over single housing helical primary products.

The WINSHIELD™ works to exclude external contaminants like high-pressure wash down materials from entering our gearboxes. To do this we have created a precise network of barriers, to keep contaminants out and lubrication in our gearboxes. The WINSHIELD™ is a standard feature on all stainless steel speed reducer output shafts. Also available as an option on the

Metric C-Face Reducers

A D90 TYPE SE Product

WINSMITH  D-90  TYPE SE  high efficiency, worm gear speed reducers are now available with metric input flanges to match  IEC motor frames. These are factory standard models, modified with metric dimensioned flanges, worms and shafts, to meet IEC dimensions for mounting motors to WINSMITH C-Face speed reducers. You can also specify metric dimensioned solid or hollow output shafts.
